A week before Christmas, twenty-five years ago, I stood barefoot in the snow and watched a fire take nearly everything I owned. What came after took the rest. But in the ashes I learned the one thing that changed everything: ashes are what you plant in. The place where it all burned down is the richest soil there is.
Every year ends the same way — a chance to close a chapter and open another. Most people let that chance pass. This year, on the 25th anniversary of the night that started my whole story, I want to spend it differently: naming what's been sitting in the ashes of this year — the dream, the idea, the version of you that got buried under the noise — and actually building on it before the new one starts.
On December 19, 2026, WOW University is hosting a free summit to help people do exactly that before 2027 begins: withstand the storm, own the story, and win with their scars as maps. I'm looking for speakers who've lived their own version of this, and we want as many people in the room (or watching live) as we can gather — so 2027 doesn't start with the same buried dream, it starts with the plan to build it.
